LA HITMEN - SoCal’s Premiere Pump Paintball Team

Fielding two squads in two different formats at the same time is tough, but to do really put effort to getting them both on the podium requires a lot of dedication on everyone’s part. The squads had a great time and each expressed their interest in playing the entire season! You know a league is doing something right when your team doesn’t win and they still want to go back and participate again and again. WCPPL did a great job of keeping the games on schedule and awarding all the divisions trophies at the same time. The Camp Pen field is a great location for the WCPPL and the entire team looks forward to more WCPPL’s to be held there. This two day event for semi auto players and one day event for pump players doesn’t take away from the work and school week and is allowing a lot of teams to experience high-level paintball at an affordable rate.

Pump 3rd place- In the pump division a brand new combination of Hitmen took the field. With Derrick Obatake out with an injury some wondered what combination of players would represent the Hitmen family. The squad was let by Mike Masushige our resident ghost. Kurley, Junny, Ryan and Ernie all took to the field and represented the Hitmen name with pride and honor. By the end the tournament the Hitmen team only lost two games to one team! They won every single other game in the tournament. The way the chips fell they had to settle for a 3rd place. Not bad for a brand new squad working together. Once they get some hard team drills done, this squad will be even better.

D2 4th place - Our Race2 squad once again teamed up with Island Paintball to put on a great show in the D2 division. They competed under the LA Hitmen by Island Paintball name. (Last year it was Mikey and the Hitmen) The team ended up taking 4th place so close to the tops honors they can taste it. In the end they left their mark that they are a force to be dealt with. The team had a great time and cannot wait for the next one.
