Pump 3rd place- In the pump division a brand new combination of Hitmen took the field. With Derrick Obatake out with an injury some wondered what combination of players would represent the Hitmen family. The squad was let by Mike Masushige our resident ghost. Kurley, Junny, Ryan and Ernie all took to the field and represented the Hitmen name with pride and honor. By the end the tournament the Hitmen team only lost two games to one team! They won every single other game in the tournament. The way the chips fell they had to settle for a 3rd place. Not bad for a brand new squad working together. Once they get some hard team drills done, this squad will be even better.

D2 4th place - Our Race2 squad once again teamed up with Island Paintball to put on a great show in the D2 division. They competed under the LA Hitmen by Island Paintball name. (Last year it was Mikey and the Hitmen) The team ended up taking 4th place so close to the tops honors they can taste it. In the end they left their mark that they are a force to be dealt with. The team had a great time and cannot wait for the next one.

For many pumpers getting a chance to play against the team is a dream come true. For those who push themselves hard, getting a chance to play for the team is even a larger goal. It was recently announced that we would be expanding our program to include pump players who demonstrate the will to become a part of the Hitmen family, even if they can’t practice with us in So Cal.

Some boys in Nor Cal had the dream of becoming Hitmen. Now they are getting their shot. Lester Samano, Bret Neundorf, Alex Boites, David Wilson, Brandon Pendley are now representing the LA Hitmen in Nor Cal. Want to hear how they did it? Visit the PaintballX3 site. www.paintballx3.com

Congrats boys! The LA Hitmen Oakland squad has now been born.

Our Race2 squad is training hard for the WCPPL www.wcppl.com series. They have been practicing at The Ranch and at SC Village Aftermath arenas. Huge props to Mike Hinman from the WCPPL/ Aftermath for helping with the fields and west coast tournament ball. The format is really fun and if they took away coaching it would be perfect! (Wishful thinking - maybe next season) The core pump squad led by Derrick and Mike played a super wet OSC www.oscseries.com event. We have never faired well in the rain and it continues to hold us back. The squad took a 4th place with strong teams placing above us and below us. Those great teams help keep the OSC series strong and we hope to see more expansion events by the OSC. We also hope to see more teams fight for the respect and top honors at the OSC. It is all about honest play in the OSC!

In the UWL Jan event Derrick Obatake played for Bob Long helping Bob Long take first place. While Carlos, Linh, J, Sergio and Valdo helped out the Hendschmen. We love helping out teams we know making events even more fun. Everybody had a great time and of course Pops Tacos was present to make sure all the Hitmen friends and family were full of carne asada. For 2010 the LA Hitmen will be rocking the usual bad ass companies: GenXGlobal pods, Full Clip gear, Guerrilla Air technology, Steel Flame chick magnets, KM straps as well.
